Birches

The Atlantic Monthly published “Birches” by Robert Frost in its August, 1915 issue. The poem was included in Frost’s collection titled Mountain Interval and published in 1916. The poem describes birch trees weighed down by ice from a storm. They set the poet’s imagination to work.
