Jane Eyre

Charlotte Bronte was a nineteenth-century English author who was noted for her dramatic romance novels.  Her most famous novel,  Jane  Eyre (Jane Eyre: An Autobiography), was published in 1847.  This work concerns a governess who achieves some feminine independence and also finds lasting married love.
