The Scream

Edvard Munch was a renowned Norwegian artist, living from 1863-1944.  His work centered upon the strong showing of human emotions.  Munch’s most famous painting is The Scream (1893), and features a powerful expression of sheer terror.  Several versions of this work exist, and are located now in the Munch Museum and also in the National Gallery in Oslo, Norway.
