Book Apps

Denotes an East Library pre-installed application

Download eBooks directly to your device from the Valencia Library.  Log in with your Borrower ID (VID Number) and Pin (last four numbers of VID) to access the app. Many of the local public libraries have this service as well. You can add multiple libraries to your account.

Load your iPad with books, magazines, newspapers and much more from the Amazon store.

Masterpiece Collection*
Digital versions of famous and frequently used classics for college courses designed to look like print books.

Access to over 3 million titles, and 1 million free titles. Includes books, magazines, comics, newspapers and more.

Create your own virtual library by adding what you have read to shelves. Access to 2,000 free eBooks and you can share with friends, create reading wish lists, read reviews, get recommendations and much more. Over 10 million users.

Provides access to the Apple Bookstore featuring full eBooks in a wide range of topics. The Apple bookstore includes many free eBooks, and this app can also read and print PDF documents.



Textbook Apps

Pearson eText*
Companion access to Pearson eText books normally viewed on a computer. Includes search capabilities and a notes manager

Kno Textbooks*
Kno carries a large collection of textbooks that are accessible on the iPad. Videos, 3D content, advanced searching, social sharing and syncing with Dropbox are all part of the features.
