Finding Government Statistics

Tips to Search Google for Statistics

More Specific Resources

To find statistics for a larger group, try visiting a government agency's website. For example, if you are looking for information on ebola or health risks the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) would be helpful. Or if you were looking for information on international affairs or crime statistics the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) or Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) would be helpful.

Tip for using Google to find statistics on government websites.

  • In Google's search bar, type your topic statistics (e.x. ebola statistics)
