A guide to events for the NEA Big Read program at Valencia College and Orange County Library System

NEA Big Read 2020

NEA Big Read is a program of the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) designed to broaden our understanding of our world, our communities, and ourselves through the joy of sharing a good book. Orange County Library System and Valencia College is one of 78 not-for-profit organizations to receive a grant to host an NEA Big Read project between September 2019-September 2020. Showcasing a diverse range of contemporary titles that reflect many different voices and perspectives, the NEA Big Read aims to inspire conversation and discovery. This year, the Orange County Library System, in partnership with Valencia College, celebrate Pretty Monsters by author Kelly Link. A virtual kickoff event featuring the author will take place at 2 p.m. on Sunday, August 23 2020. Many more virtual events will take place through September 10, 2020. Register for an NEA Big Read event today and join us to discover the treasures your imagination digs up!
