Exploring your career idol and dream job builds excitement for your future success. In addition to the library, Valencia offers quite a few resources that will give you the information you need to make the right decisions to help you achieve your future goals. Check them out! 


Career Center 

The East Campus Career Center is located in Building 5, Room 230. Career Center services and programs are designed to help students:

  • learn more about their personality, interests, skills and values
  • discover career options best suited to them
  • decide on a major related to career choice
  • research 4-year college/university, graduate, and professional school transfer requirements
  • review resumes and cover letters
  • learn about job interviewing techniques
  • research career fields and job outlook



Career Planner 

Valencia College is proud to offer its students free access to all career planning services. To take any of the career assessments, you need to first create an account. On the second page of registration, please enter the license code that is found in Atlas under the LifeMap tab on the My Career Planner channel and you will gain lifetime access to all the tests!



My Job Prospects

CareerBeam includes the most updated job posting databases containing millions of jobs from multiple sources including internships, entry-level, professional and executive jobs. Postings are continuously authenticated to remove outdated postings and you can create alerts and find connections through social media.



The Valencia College libraries do not welcome solicitation of resources to be added to our LibGuides. This includes but is not limited to vendors, search engine optimizers, placement of ads, products, or any other requests. Our LibGuides are carefully curated resources developed in partnership with faculty, staff, and students to support specific assignments, courses, events, and other related purposes at Valencia College.
