Distance Tutoring

Online Tutoring offers:

  • All tutoring is currently done online
  • To access tutoring, you must enroll in the canvas course for the subject area you would like assistance with

Although Valencia College campuses and locations are physically closed to students and employees, the College remains open to assist students virtually.

Counseling Services and Resources

Valencia College strives to ensure all our students have a rewarding and successful college experience. For that purpose, Valencia students can get immediate help with issues dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, adjustment difficulties, substance abuse, time management as well as relationship problems dealing with school, home, or work. BayCare Behavioral Health Student Assistance Program (SAP)  services are free to all Valencia students and available 24 hours a day by calling (800) 878-5470. If needed, the counselor may refer the student to appropriate resources or to speak face-to-face with a licensed counselor.

Career Services

Career Center services and programs are designed to help students:

  • learn more about their personality, interests, skills, and values
  • discover career options best suited to them
  • decide on a major related to career choice
  • research 4-year college/university, graduate, and professional school transfer requirements
  • review resumes and covers letters
  • learn about job interviewing techniques
  • research career fields and job outlook

Veteran Student Services

The Office of Veteran Affairs provides essential resources and support for our Veterans, Active-Duty, National Guard, and Reserve military personnel, their spouses, and dependents.

The Student Veterans of America is the premier organization leading service, research, programs, and advocacy for veterans in higher education.

Valencia College physical campus locations are currently closed to students, staff, and faculty. The VA office staff is working remotely during this time.
