Australia vs France: The Difference in Economies


Rachel HannafordRachel Hannaford is currently a General Studies major working towards their Associate in Arts degree at Valencia College. They plan to continue their education as an Accounting major at University of Central Florida. They live in Tampa with their dog, Gabriel.

Juliannie Cabrera LopezMy name is Juliannie Cabrera Lopez, and I am currently majoring in General Studies. I plan to transfer to the University of Florida to complete a bachelor’s degree in animal science to become a veterinarian one day. I love spending time with family and friends and going to the beach. I also really like trying new things.

Alejandra Cruz LopezMy name is Alejandra Cruz Lopez. I’m 20 years old and I lived in Puerto Rico for 15 years. Currently I’m doing a major in Small Business Administration. I always had a passion for opening a business about cosmetology.

Enrique RiveraHi, my name is Enrique Rivera, I am 18 years old, and I am currently pressuring a bachelor's degree in business. I want to use the bachelor's degree that I will earn to become marking manager. After I earn my AA, I plan to transfer to University of Central Florida.

Shequitta SimsHi, my name is Shequitta Sims and I’m majoring in accounting. I’m interested in doing research because I’ve always had a passion for learning about the economy and how it works. I’m pursuing an associate degree at Valencia and will be moving on to the University Of Central Florida to get my accounting degree. I love watching my son play football and going to church.


ABSTRACT:  In this research we will be comparing and contrasting the basic economies of Australia and France over the past five years. This discussion will describe the two country’s basic inputs, labor force: including the demographics of each country, and natural resources. Our group has analyzed gross domestic product, unemployment, and inflation to answer the question of employment in Australia and France. In the past 5 years  Australia’s employment decreased by 0.5%. However, in France there was an increase in employment by 65.10%. By analyzing both countries and their economies we will explain more in deeply the difference and more information.
