Accessing the Library Resources

To effectively use this guide you will need to log into Atlas or Canvas. To access the library's online resources you will need to be logged in through Atlas or Canvas:

To log in, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to Atlas
  2. Go to the Courses tab
  3. Locate the Libraries box halfway down the right-hand side of the screen
  4. Click on Search the Library.

If you do not log into Atlas or Canvas, you will be prompted for a Borrower ID and PIN when you click on the links to library resources, see below for how to access the library resources using your VID.

If Atlas is unavailable, you can still access the Library using your Borrower ID and PIN.

1. Go directly to the library catalog page: https://union.discover.flvc.org/vc.jsp

3. In the upper right corner, click Log In.

4. Enter your Borrower ID and PIN. Unless you have changed them, 

  • the Borrower ID is your VID number 
  • the PIN is the last 4 digits of your VID number
