To the Virgins, to Make Much of Time

Robert Herrick was an English poet who lived during the 1600’s.  Herrick’s  poem “To the Virgins, to Make Much of Time” comes from his collection entitled Hesperides, published in 1648.   In this poem, Herrick stresses that youth is fleeting, and life is short, so that someone must enjoy all of life while one can.
