Long Day’s Journey into Night

Eugene O’Neill finished his Pulitzer Prize-winning play Long Day’s Journey into Night by 1941, but it was not produced and published until1956, three years after his death, because of its autobiographical subject matter. The play is set at the summer home of the Tyrone family in 1912.
