Deliverance (the novel)

The novel, Deliverance, was James Dickey's first. Written in 1970, Deliverance is a gripping adventure story, but also one of humiliation, murder, tragedy, and ultimately, a soul-searching study of one man's struggle with courage, morality, and ethics.
