Farewell to Arms

A Farewell to Arms by Ernest Hemingway was published serially in six parts in 1929 and then as a book later the same year. It has also been the basis for a play and several films. This novel takes place in Italy during World War One and is based on Hemingway’s experiences as a volunteer ambulance driver.
