One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest (the 1975 movie)

Released in 1975, this film adaptation of the 1962 Ken Kesey novel takes place in a mental hospital in the late 1950s. Patient McMurty (Randall Patrick McMurty), a feisty misfit, upsets the quiet routine of a men’s mental ward by asserting his individuality, inspiring other patients to assert themselves and continually conflicting with head nurse, Nurse Ratched. Directed by Milos Forman, this film won all five top Oscars in 1975: Best Picture, Actor, Actress, Director and Screenplay.
