Bird in Space

Constantin Brancusi was a famous 20th-century Romanian sculptor.  In the 1920’s and 1930’s he created numerous related marble or bronze abstract sculptures each called Bird in Space.  Such sculptures suggested that a bird was about to fly into the air.
