CPT Computerized Placement Tests

The CPT (Computerized Placement Tests) produced by the College Board are used by Valencia Community College to place or exempt students in English, reading, and math classes.  Minimum scores on the ACT or SAT can also be used for exempting college-prep classes.  See the Valencia catalog for details.  The Student Guide to the Computerized Placement Tests (CPTs) and other information are available in the Answer Center, 5-211.  Practice tests are on Reserve in the Library.  In addition, workbooks are sold in bookstore and contain review materials and practice tests.  Review workshops are offered on a self-paced basis.  For more information, contact the Assessment Center.
