Students in Distress: Identifying Personal and Academic Risk Behaviors

What is this LibGuide?

This guide is designed to support the CARE+ program by providing CARE coaches and their students information about resources within and outside of Valencia's community.  Everything from student support services (e.g. advising & counseling), learning support services (e.g tutoring), and resources to help students meet their essential needs can be found in this guide.

What is CARE+?

The CARE+ program provides students with holistic support through peer coaching. CARE Coaches are successful Valencia students (current or former) who help their peers navigate the challenges that come with being a college student, while providing academic support for courses in math, English, science, and New Student Experience (SLS 1122).
