I want to show a film on campus, but not in class. What steps do I need to take?

To show a film on campus but not to a particular class, you must have the public performance rights.

  • Films in the library’s Kanopy database include public performance rights.
  • Some documentary makers do grant permission to screen a film in public without a fee; google the film and check its web site.
  • Otherwise, contact Swank for a public performance license.
