Veteran's Health: Finding Resources on the Web

Overview

A search engine, such as Google, Yahoo! or Bing, can be useful for finding information that is accessible on the Web such as finding:

  • Company/organization/individual information

  • Government or international statistical data

Search engines use a search formula often based on your previous search history and a website’s popularity to influence search results. It is always best practice to evaluate the websites that you visit. You can use this document as a starting place.
