Library Catalog

Search the library catalog to find e-books and/or streaming videos related to your topic.

Logging In to Access Library Resources

This guide works best by accessing it within Atlas or Canvas. 

Follow these steps:

  1. Log in to Atlas
  2. Go to the Courses tab
  3. Locate the Libraries box halfway down the right-hand side of the screen
  4. Click on Search the Library.

Note: If you do not access this guide through Atlas or Canvas, you will be prompted for a Borrower ID and PIN when you click on the links to library resources

  • Your Borrower ID is your V number including the V.
  • Your PIN is the last four digits of your VID

Reference Services

  • The library has over 94,000 items that are accessible to students for research and leisure.
  • Over 180 research databases are accessible from home.
  • Students can check out books from UCF, any VCC campus library, and all the Florida Community Colleges
  • The library provides research assistance, directions, maps, and citation support.
  • Study guides for ASVAB, GRE, SAT and many other exams are available.

    Using The Library

    Your Valencia ID Card also serves as your Library Card.

    Students, Faculty & Staff:
    Log in to Atlas to search the library by going to the Courses tab.  On the far right under Register For Classes is a link for Search The Library.

    Visitors:
    Search the Library without logging in. ***Important*** Use this link during Atlas outages (Read below).

    During Atlas outages, FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS to log in to the Library:

    1. Click the "Search the Library" link above.
    2. On the page that follows, click Log In in the upper right corner of the screen.
    3. When prompted, enter your Borrower ID and PIN.
      • The Borrower ID is the number appearing on the back of your student ID card. This is EITHER a 14-digit barcode number beginning with 259... or your VID number. (If you do not have a student ID card, try your VID number). Include the V.
      • The PIN is the last four digits of your VID number.
