ECO 2013 (Harris) - Researching Countries and Schools of Thought: Home

This guide presents sources on researching countries.

What's in this Guide?

This is a guide for students in Prof. Harris' Macroeconomics class. It contains resources and suggestions for finding sources on researching a country or a school of economic thought.

Accessing Databases

The databases listed in this guide are available through library subscription and require a login. All Valencia students, faculty and staff have access to these sources. There are two potential login methods:

  1. Open another window or tab. Login to Atlas. Go to the Courses tab. Click on the Search the Library link on the right-hand side of the screen to enter the library's catalog. Now you should be logged in automatically.
  2. Login in manually using your Borrower ID and PIN. Your Borrower ID is on the back of your Valencia picture ID. For most it is your VID (including the capital V). PIN should be the last 4 digits of your VID.

West Campus Librarians

The Valencia College libraries do not welcome solicitation of resources to be added to our LibGuides. This includes but is not limited to vendors, search engine optimizers, placement of ads, products, or any other requests. Our LibGuides are carefully curated resources developed in partnership with faculty, staff, and students to support specific assignments, courses, events, and other related purposes at Valencia College. The Valencia libraries reserve the right to ignore LibGuide resource solicitations, and/or block persistent requests from groups or individuals to add or promote links in our LibGuides.
