Faculty and librarians can collaborate to support students by embedding a librarian in their Canvas Course. Faculty can add the Librarian to the course using the Librarian role. The librarian's presence creates an opportunity for students to interact with them. Here are some ideas of how an embedded librarian can work in your course.

Research Guides, also known as LibGuides.
Course-specific research guides provide students with resources from a library instruction session that they can refer to afterward. The guides can also serve as a repository for concepts that cause students difficulty each semester.
Research guides are easily accessible via a URL, or they can be embedded into Canvas. For instructions on embedding a research guide into your course, click on the following link.
Interactive Tutorials
The librarian creates interactive tutorials for students. These tutorials demonstrate the steps in the research process based on an assignment. The tutorials contain videos, short answer or multiple-choice questions, and other assessment options. Faculty can assign students the tutorial and request the results of the tutorial from the librarian.

Faculty can schedule a time to meet with the librarian using this link. During this time, the librarian can do one-on-one consultations via Zoom, phone, or face-to-face. We can discuss the creation of practical research assignments, library instruction options, OER, etc.
