Library Spring 2023 Hours
January 9 - April 30, 2023

Library Break Hours can vary during holidays and college closures.
Libraries will have both on-site and virtual hours at each campus library.

You can contact the library by e-mailing with questions about your library account, access, fines, holds, and check-outs.

Search the Library for books, e-books, videos, articles, digital media, and more. Or search our databases directly. This will require you to log in to Atlas.

Ask a Librarian

Need help with research or library resources? Get remote help from state-wide librarians at Ask-a-Librarian.

Ask a Librarian provides online help through live chat and text messaging from 10 a.m. to midnight Sunday through Thursday (ET), and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday (ET).

Get help directly from Valencia College librarians on Ask-A-Librarian.

Students can chat live online or text a Valencia College librarian.  Librarians will respond to e-mails during open break hours.  You may also use the statewide Ask-A Librarian service desk linked above.

During campus closures or off hours, students can send an e-mail that librarians will retrieve when the virtual desk reopens.

To Connect to the Library via Atlas:

1. Log in to Atlas:

2. Go to the MyAtlas tab, Courses tab, or Employees tab.

3. Under Libraries, click Search the Library.

Technology and the Library

The college no longer loans laptops on a semester basis.

A limited number of 4G hotspots are available to loan for eligible students with high need, subject to availability. Contact or call 407-582-2889 to inquire about current availability and start the request process.

All campus libraries have computer labs and access to printing and scanning during open building hours. Libraries have some devices available for short term loans. Devices available for check-out vary by location. Larger libraries have laptops, iPads, calculators, headphones, etc. but no hotspots. If you are currently enrolled, check with your campus library to see if they have a device available for a few hours or for a week.
