Library Spring 2023 Hours 
January 9 - April 30, 2023

Library Break Hours can vary during holidays and college closures.  Libraries will have both on-site and virtual hours at each campus library.

You can contact the library by e-mailing with questions about your library account, access, fines, holds, and check-outs.

Limited Services on Saturday for West Campus - access to computers, printing, loan of devices (no live tutoring).will be available in Building 7, Tutoring, Room 240 from 10am-4pm on Saturdays.

Materials Checked Out?

If you are on campus, you can return your book to the campus library. You can also return your books any time using the drive-up library book drop in front of Building 6.  We request you return all laptops or devices checked out from the library to the circulation desk inside the library.

Supporting Online, Hybrid and RTV Modalities

Online services are available:

  • Use Ask a Librarian service to get your questions answered
  • Embed library content in your Canvas course
  • Collaborate with liaison librarians to find and access digital resources and content
  • Support students by embedding a librarian in your Canvas course
    • Librarians can be added to your Canvas course using the Librarian role. 

    • Reach out to your liaison librarian to learn more.

  • Access library instruction virtually. Schedule your library instruction session and select virtual/online as your modality.

Here is what our library in building 6 has to offer:

Other On-Site Services:

  • The library is equipped with assistive technologies.
  • Print, scan & copy: Prints & copies are $.20 / page for color or $.10 / page for black & white. Scanning is $.04 / page. There is also a second, free scanner in the library on the second floor. Students scan their Valencia ID card to pay; reload online or at a PaperCut kiosk in the library. (Find student tutorials here.)
  • Recycling stations are available on each floor; students can drop off ink cartridges at the Reference desk.
The Valencia College libraries do not welcome solicitation of resources to be added to our LibGuides. This includes but is not limited to vendors, search engine optimizers, placement of ads, products, or any other requests. Our LibGuides are carefully curated resources developed in partnership with faculty, staff, and students to support specific assignments, courses, events, and other related purposes at Valencia College. The Valencia libraries reserve the right to ignore LibGuide resource solicitations, and/or block persistent requests from groups or individuals to add or promote links in our LibGuides.
